Creamy Garlic & Chilli Dip

Creamy Garlic & Chilli Dip

A really easy and versatile recipe, perfect to accompany many dishes or just to simply dip snacks in.

You can use your favourite Olives for this recipe.

Sue used Garlic & Chilli in this recipe but Black olives would work well too.

Add more lemon juice and white wine vinegar if you wish it to be more of a dressing than a dip.

It makes a wonderful dip for your breadsticks and crudités, also on new potatoes and to dollop onto your plate of salad.

Ingredients

1 packet West Country Olives – Chilli & Garlic or your favourite olives!

250g natural yoghurt

250g mayonnaise

3 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp white wine vinegar

2 cloves garlic

Handful chopped chives

Pinch of salt

Black Pepper

Method

1. Put everything into a food processor and blend until smooth – I like mine a little chunky.

2. Check for seasoning.

3. Add more lemon juice or white wine vinegar if you want a runnier dressing.

4. Serve with breadsticks, crackers or chopped vegetables. Dip in!

Try it with different flavour olives.

It will keep for a few days in the fridge.
