Summer BBQ Salad Recipe
This summery salad was made by our friends at ‘No Smoke without Fire’, they were just outside the Food Marquee at Devon County Show.
They were cooking up delicious delights on all 3 days on various outdoor cooking equipment, such as the Big Green Egg and the Alfa-Forni Pizza Oven
I sampled the best burger I’ve ever tasted and the most succulent steak!
Ingredients
Method
Cut the romaine lettuce into chunks, place in a salad bowl and lightly dress with fresh lemon juice.
Roast off some baby tomatoes till their soft and squashed, add onto the lettuce leaves.
Half a cucumber and remove the seeds and grill on the BBQ.
Once charred a little remove and slice before adding to the salad, then dust with a little dried oregano.
